Footstools 2 U - Footstool Review*

Some weeks ago, I was contacted by Footstools 2 U, to offer me a footstool as a competition prize. However, being a wary person I was worried about offering a competition prize from a company I had never dealt with personally. There are so many scare stories these days about Bloggers who run competitions and then companies never provide the prize - sadly you end up responsible yourself for providing that prize or something the the same value.

On asking if it was possible to review one first, I was told that unfortunately the offer was only for one at this time. Perhaps a little selfishly, but also because I thought it was best, I decided to have a footstool to review, rather than as a competition prize - and I agreed to review the footstool and the company Footstools 2 U.

The footstool I was offered, was either this one:

A small leather footstool, available in a selection of leathers and with either mahogany or natural wood feet.

Or this one:

Again, a small footstool, available in a selection of fabrics and with either mahogany or natural wood feet.

I picked the leather one, largely because the colours suited our lounge better. I have to admit that I did specify I wasn't fussy though and would happily have anything in red. I also plumped for mahogany feet as our lounge is all dark wood.

It wasn't long at all before the footstool arrived. It came by courier and was incredibly well packed.

I excitedly unpacked it, to find a beautiful footstool that I knew I loved the minute I saw it. Also included were instructions on how to look after my leather footstool, caring for the leather etc.

I was genuinely very pleased with the footstool and immediately tried it out!

Now I don't know about you, but I've never really owned a footstool before. Forcing yourself to use one, or rather getting used to using one, when you never have, is quite a strange thing. For the most part, that's why my review of this footstool has taken several weeks for me to get around to. I wanted to make sure I was giving it an accurate review.

So far, I've got no complaints about the footstool at all. It is comfy with or without shoes. It doesn't mark or retain any indentations. And better still, its big enough to share with a partner, even though its small!

This is not at all a biased review, or swayed by having been given the footstool for free. These are opinions are honest and genuine. I am incredibly happy with this footstool and I would definitely buy from Footstools 2 U again. The lady I dealt with was incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. Delivery was only a few days and I was kept up to date by text on its courier arrival. To anyone who is looking to get a footstool, please consider this site. I really couldn't recommend them highly enough. And even better? The lovely people at Footstools 2U have allowed me to give you a 15% off discount code! So if you want to buy, enter this code SAVE15PERCENT and save yourself some money! Let me know if you buy one!

  4. Footstools are too bulky for my liking usually - this is just lovely. A neat little stool that would perfectly fit in my living room!
