Nerd Block - June

About a week ago, my June subscription of Nerd Block arrived again! You may have seen my post about May's Box, my first ever Nerd Block. However I decided to stick with the subscription for a little while, see what type of things I got. This month, despite the spoilers on the customs label, I have to admit I was pretty pleased!

As I picked my box up from the Post Office, on the way to work, I have to admit that I forgot to take a "full box" picture and by the time I got around to pictures, I'd already picked bits apart and they'd found new homes. However this is all the stuff I got.

First of all, there was a blind box of Doctor Who figures. I didn't have a clue who I would get but I was pretty pleased to find out it was Matt Smith. Out of all the choices, I would have picked him or Christopher Eccleston!

Next up was a box marked "Pin Art" and when I opened it, I found one of these awesome things, which I wouldn't have a clue what to call it! Unlike the ones that were around when I was younger, these pins are made from plastic instead of metal nail type pins. Its still just as awesome and just as entertaining as I remember!

Next up was a Minecraft sticker, which promptly went to Megan - and a Mario Kart Race Car, which promptly went to Lily. So far, so good!

Finally, left in the box was not one but two t-shirts this months - luckily, both of which I like AND understand. By the time I remembered to take the box pictures, the tees had already gone up to my room so I took a picture of the card that came in the box, which shows both of them. However this morning I wore the Ghostbusters one and while I appreciate its back to front because of the mirror... you get the point!

This month I was incredibly happy with the stuff that came in my box. Both the t-shirts I'll wear, so that already covers the cost of the box. On top of that the girls got a little bit of something each, I got a Dr Who figure and while I'm not sure how much use it will get, the pin art will definitely keep us entertained (and in my case nostalgic) from time to time!

Good job Nerd Block! I look forward to July's!

  2. I never knew that this box existed and now I am so jealous about Ghostbusters T-shirt. When I was growing up is when Ghostbusters came out and I had all of the Ghostbusters toys. I even had the backpack and it would run around my neighborhood pretending that I was zapping ghosts. The ghosts were really squirrels and neighbors cats and dogs and other little kids.
I will definitely have to check this box out. There's another box like this it's geared towards "nerds" I got it for a couple of months and it was okay but I just didn't see the need to keep getting it. It's called Loot Crate. Between my Julip box and my birchbox and my cult cosmetics box, I guess I cannot another one ;)

  3. These do look like such a fab idea! I'm not really into beauty all that much so didn't really follow this craze but this one looks much more suited to me I'm definitely an inner nerd!
