Story Leather iPhone 5s case*

I don't know about you, but I would be lost without my phone. In this era of smartphones, the ability to not only check my messages and phone calls, but also Facebook, Twitter - even make a blog post on the move - is invaluable. As such, I'm always careful to keep a case on my iPhone 5s, to ensure it doesn't get damaged or broken. I've had plenty of cases over the years, of varying types. However until recently I'd never had a wallet kind. I'd never really realised just how useful they could be!

Not long after I discovered the wonders of a wallet phone case, I was contacted by a company called Story Leather, to see if I would like to review one of their leather book style phone cases. Of course I jumped at the chance and when it arrived, I was excited to put it on my phone.
Story Leather is a company located in the US. All their products are handcrafted from start to finish, for both custom items and stock items. The leather is 100% real and not fake plastic leather. They specialise in custom orders that are their own design, or they can create designs based on what a customer would like. As well as phone cases, they make wallets, purses, bags and more. You should definitely check out their website.

The phone case arrived in beautiful packaging. It felt special even opening it.
Then when I saw the phone case itself, I could have squealed. It was red, my favourite colour. Though I was desperate to get the case on my phone, I took the time to get lots of pictures too. The smell of real leather was amazing though and I couldn't help but sniff it (I still do sometimes!).
When I got it on my phone, it took a little while to get used to. Not because there was anything weird about it, but the magnetic close it has, fastened the opposite way to the last wallet case I had, so I was in the habit of doing it that way. However it didn't take long to adjust and how I love my new case.
As well as being real leather (and my favourite colour) I love this phone case because it's not too chunky, meaning it's light weight. My phone still feels incredibly safe inside this case and I can honestly say I don't have a single complaint. While I haven't actually used it's wallet function as yet, it's great to know I can just slide my card into the slit and take my phone out in my jeans pocket - meaning no big handbag. That said, if I had a handbag as beautiful as this case, I'd be wanting to take it anyway!

Now is a great time to check out the Story Leather website, as in the run up to the US Mother's Day, they are hosting a competition to win your very own Story Leather phone case. There are five days left to enter and everyone who does will receive a $10 gift certificate for use on any of their products.
