Wednesday Wish List - Disney Couture

As you know, majority of my Wish Lists include Disney products. My last few have been solely Disney! So as to not disappoint any of you (haha) this one is completely Disney too!

It's been a while since I last featured a Wish List post - before my birthday in fact - but I was feeling a bit tired this evening and didn't have the energy to write the post I originally had planned. So here it is, my Disney Couture Jewellery wish list!

a. Alice in Wonderland, Queen of Hearts Sword earrings / b. Alice in Wonderland, Queen of Hearts Sword necklace
c. Alice in Wonderland, silver curved key bracelet / d. Alice in Wonderland, Classic Mad Hatter necklace
e. Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter stud earrings / f. Faith, Trust, Believe interlinked ring
g. Dreams Come True message necklace / h. Tinkerbell, Believing is just the beginning locket necklace
i. Snow White Poison Apple necklace
First of all, I'm sure it won't have escaped your notice that all of these items are silver in colour (though some are platinum rather than actual silver). This is one of the main reasons I am even making this wish list - as Disney Couture have released a lot more items in silver. I have always been a huge fan of Disney Couture jewellery, but sadly so much of it has been gold. Now with so much choice, I'm full of items I would like!

A, B, C, D and E are all Alice in Wonderland pieces. I have never ever been a fan of Alice in Wonderland - until recent years. I think it initially started when I threw an Alice in Wonderland party for my best friend Amy. After that I attended another birthday, this time thrown by an old school friend of mine. A few years later, I met my current partner and one of his favourite animated Disney films is Alice in Wonderland. Coupled with the fact my youngest daughter spent a good year watching the movie none stop and ended up with her 5th birthday themed Alice in Wonderland - well I guess it just stuck! A and B are a beautiful set of earrings and a necklace. They are sold separately but if you were going to have one, it would be nice to have both right? C is actually a bracelet that I bought for my friend Amy, the year I threw her the Alice in Wonderland party. Ever since then I've fancied it for myself, even more so in the last year! Finally, D and E are both Mad Hatter themed and who doesn't like the Mad Hatter? While his character didn't exactly bowl me over in the animated movie, I do love a bit of Johnny Depp! Also, my partner Chris was the Mad Hatter in a Murder Mystery we did, so I'm sold on those two pieces as well!

Next we move on to nice words and quotes! One of the few Disney Couture pieces I actually own, is this Believe ring.

However I loved it too much and for too long and now its not really wearable. I've been tempted to buy myself another one, but just never really got around to it. Instead this interlinked ring would be nice - bearing the words Faith, Trust, Believe. That's just a good life motto, don't you think? Next up comes the "Dreams Come True" necklace. I've fancied this, ever since it was in gold, but like I said before - I don't do gold jewellery. However everyone has an inner princess and everyone wants to believe that dreams can come true, so this necklace is just perfect!

I've always had a huge soft spot for Tinkerbell (perhaps because she has my name in hers?) and not only are the words on this necklace, adorable - its also a locket. I used to have a locket a long time ago, bought for me by the girls. Sadly the chain broke and then I don't really know what happened to it... this would make a great replacement.

Last but not least, is the Snow White apple necklace. While I'm not a huge fan of Snow White herself, I do love the story. In fact, since Once Upon a Time has been around, I think I'm more of an Evil Queen fan than of Snow White. Either way, the apple is delicate and cute and I figure I could actually be a secret (or not so secret) Regina fan... wearing this necklace!

Those of you who read my blog often, will actually know that I'm a huge Belle fan (again, possibly for namesake?). Sadly everything Disney Couture and Beauty & the Beast is in gold. Of all the pieces on offer, there is only one that I might be swayed by. That's the Red Rose Petals necklace.

I can completely see why all the Beauty & the Beast stuff is in gold, but at the same time I wish it wasn't! I do love red roses though so perhaps this might have to be my one exception to gold jewellery!

  1. You know the saying about "great minds" I wrote a post last night about my current Disney Couture collection and my wishlist!

I used to have the Dreams Come True necklace in silver but Paddy bought it for me so I sold it along with all the other things bar my Macbook he bought me after we broke up. I really want it again though. I still have my silver key bracelet, it's one of my favourite ever pieces! I have the Snow White apple on my list :)
