#CostaMusicalBingo - an evening of fun and games

On Wednesday night, I attended a night of Musical Bingo, hosted by Costa Bingo. I was lucky enough to be invited alongside Nat (my blogging partner at Twice the Mum). We met up at 3.30pm and headed all the way from Lincoln, down to Birmingham.

It was a fun trip, taking about 2 hours. Even though we've seen each other a lot this week, we still managed to find loads to talk about. We got to Birmingham with plenty of time and so when we parked, we decided to head out and see where it was we were supposed to be going and check we had the right place. After a little walk around, to get our bearings, we headed back to the car - to get changed and to do our makeup.

We had an hour to waste and we managed fairly successfully. I was dressed as a witch and Nat as a skeleton. Our make up was basically just... heavy - haha! Once we were done getting changed and ready we headed out of the car park and over to the venue - The Victoria Theatre Bar. We headed upstairs to where the Musical Bingo was going to be held.

When we first got there, the room wasn't quite ready so we had to wait a little while to get in. When we did though, we picked ourselves a seat and got settled in for the evening. A few people joined us and we invited another girl who seemed to be by ourselves to join us too. The evening kicked off at 8pm, with the first round of musical bingo - Body Parts.

In this first round, I tied for two rows but after being on stage and having to stuff marshmallows in my mouth, I conceded to the other girl on stage. However I then won three rows and reluctantly placed myself on the stage again. Luckily I won a bottle of win though so that wasn't too bad!

Though there were intervals between the other two rounds, they carried on without me winning anything. Honestly I was quite grateful though as I wasn't keen to be on stage! Sadly Nat didn't win anything either though, but I'd threatened her with going up for me if I did manage to complete any more lines!

The evening finished at 11pm and Nat and I had to head home fairly swiftly as we had a long drive home. I finally dropped Nat off at 1.10am and then got home myself at 1.30am myself. Thank you to Joe Blogs Network and to Costa Bingo for inviting us both. We had a very interesting, but good evening and hope to get a chance to do something together again soon! I'll leave you with some embarrassing photos of me, care of Joe Blogs Network and Costa Bingo.
