And the winner is...

First of all, I want to take the opportunity to apologise for the delay in announcing the winner of my Disney Fashion Competition. It's been such a busy few weeks as you might know if you've been reading my blog, but also this last week has taken a strange twist, delaying me even further. I also want to admit to feeling a little bit disappointed, that only 4 people entered my competition - despite there being £30 of Disney Store vouchers up for grabs. Anyway, after trying to print out all the entries (and running out of ink), I placed everything in front of the kids and got them to help me pick a winner. This is the results!!

In 3rd place - but sadly not a prize winner with there being only 4 entries - is Alice Megan!

The girls loved her polka dot combination right from the get go. In fact, if there hadn't been indecision between them both, it was very close to being the runner up! For me, it was incredibly reasonably priced which was a large part of the competition. Well done Alice!

In second place, a tie between two particular entries, was Kariss!

While the girls loved all five of Kariss' entries, these two were hot favourites. Megan favourited the Mad Hatter, while Lily loved this particular Alice entry. For me, I loved the cleverness of the Mad Hatter colour combinations and the way a male character had been made female, plus for Alice I absolutely loved the shoes! Congratulations Kariss, you are our winner of Love 2 Shop vouchers!

Finally, that brings us to the winner overall. Fiona from North East Nerd!

While again, we loved all her entries, it was a unanimous decision that this Ariel entry was our favourite over all the others. We loved that Ariel's red hair had been brought in with the cardigan, while maintaining her top as purple. We especially loved the slight colour change in greens from trousers to boots, reflecting the change for her fins. Finally, the dinglehopper necklace, was just that extra touch. Well done Fiona, you are the winner of £30 Disney Store vouchers! Congratulations.
