2014 in Review - 52 Project

As one of my round up posts, I wanted to recap on the 52 Project photos I've taken over the year. Obviously I'm not going to re-post all 52, but I thought it would be nice to look back at 2-3 points in the year, to show the changes the girls have been through.

Week 1/52 - 2014

Week 27/52

Week 52/52

For me, the biggest change this year, is Lily's fringe. It seems such a silly thing but its really stood out as the big change over the year. A big solid fringe, that she's had nearly all her life (since she properly got hair at least) was grown out over this year. I miss the fringe, but Lily is very happy with her new one. I can see why, because she definitely looks more grown up with the grown out fringe - but I guess maybe that's why I miss her other fringe, as she's still my baby. Of course Lily has changed in many other ways too, that don't show physically - an enjoyment of reading and writing, the ability to swim, her interest in playing computer games.

For Megan, its been a much more subtle change. My little big girl, who turned 10 at the end of the year, has changed more in personality than in looks. So grown up and so like me in many ways. She blogs now - and one of her resolutions is to try more in the coming year. She also draws beautifully and wants to start a YouTube channel. At school she absolutely thrives and she is incredibly intelligent. While Lily is my little girl who I don't want to grow up, Megan is growing up and I'm so proud of her.

I can't wait to see what comes from them both this year. Bring on 2015.
